Questions about Voting?
Why should I vote by mail?
Since in-person voting was canceled due to COVID-19 safety concerns, voting by mail, or "voting by absentee ballot," is the only method for voting in the 2020 Ohio Primary Election.
Click here to download an Absentee Ballot Application.
What kind of election is it?
March 17 (extended voting by mail April 28) is a Primary Election. When filling out your absentee ballot application, check PRIMARY ELECTION.
How do I send in my vote/ballot?
Instructions for casting your vote by mail will be included with your ballot. First you have to fill out an application to tell the Board of Elections which ballot to send you. To send your ballot to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, use the return envelope that comes with your ballot. You only need one first-class stamp to mail in your ballot.
